Linking Accounts For Granting Access to Your Websites, Additional Email Address For Reports

 

 

Linking Accounts of the Anti-Spam and Security Services

Granting the READ-WRITE rights is available for the CleanTalk accounts with a paid license and with an activated CleanTalk Extra Package for Anti-Spam or Security.

If you want to grant the rights to others for managing or inspecting your websites, do the following:

1. Enter your Anti-Spam Dashboard or Security Dashboard.

2. Click your profile picture in the top right corner and then click Linked accounts:

3. Click the button New Grant:

4. Choose what website and under what service you want to share it with another CleanTalk account:

5. Choose the rights (READ or READ+WRITE) and input the email address of another CleanTalk account you want to share your website with. If the account does not exist yet, it will be created automatically. The user will receive an email with their login credentials and a request to confirm their email address.

Then click the button Save:

6. Log in to the account you shared your website with and approve the access.

Note: Verification is required only for the first delegated website. Confirmation is not required for any new shared websites.

 

7. If you want to change the rights, go to your Linked Accounts page as you did in Step 2 and click the Edit button.

8. Change the rights and click the Save button.

Note: Rights to websites can be granted only to one CleanTalk account per 1 website.

 

Linking Accounts of the Uptime Monitoring Service

1. Go to your CleanTalk Dashboard, click on the Services menu, then click Monitoring:

2. Click your profile picture in the top right corner and then click Linked accounts:

3. Click the New Grant button:

4. Select your monitor you want to share, choose the rights, and input an email address of another CleanTalk account. If the account does not exist yet, it will be created automatically. The user will receive an email with their login credentials and a request to confirm their email address.

Then click the Add button:

5. Log into the account you shared your monitor with and accept the action. If you want to change the rights, go to your Linked Accounts page as you did in Step 2 and click the Edit button.

Where Can I Find the Delegated Websites in the Trusted User Profile?

1. Enter the trusted user's CleanTalk Dashboard.

2. Find the title Delegated websites on the main page:

3. The trusted user can manage your delegated websites the same way as for the usual ones.

 

 

How Can I Add a Second Email Address to Receive Notifications and Newsletters?

It's possible to do after purchasing a CleanTalk Extra Package for your account.

1. Enter your Anti-Spam Dashboard or Security Dashboard.

2. Click your profile picture in the top right corner and then click Linked accounts:

3. Click the button New Grant:

4. Choose what website and under what service you want to share it with another CleanTalk account:

5. Choose the rights (READ or READ+WRITE) and input the email address of another CleanTalk account you want to share your website with. To manage newsletters in the new account, please log into the CleanTalk Dashboard with the new credentials and visit this page:
https://cleantalk.org/my/profile#mailing_lists

Tick or untick any mailing list you want and press Save:

Attention! For security reasons authorizations without a password (meaning visiting your Dashboard with a secret token) will be automatically disabled on both accounts.
